The Magic Of Feeling

Artist Manifesto

While my advertising and design work is very concept focused and investigation driven, I find art to be my escape from thought and all manners of constraint.
A way to express my true emotional and creative self.
That’s why my work is very abstract and finds itself in various forms, dimensions, colors and textures.
I take inspiration from my own experiences, my favorite music and whatever I’m feeling at that time. More often than not, I paint to escape my own pain. But sometimes I use it to synthesize and communicate it, to let it out, like my knot series.
I’m also heavily influenced by great artists like Cy Twombly, Andy Warhol, Basquiat, Jeff Koons, Damien Hirst, Gottfried Helnwein, Mauricio Galguera, and the colors in the world around me.

I use acrylics, pigments, flowers, plants, everyday objects such as makeup and mostly my hands.
